The Term In Months is the length of time for which you wish to finance or lease your vehicle. Extending the term decreases monthly payments. The length of the term may also influence the interest rate available from Toyota Financial Services.

Toyota Financial Services leases are based on 16,000 km, 20,000 km or a more generous 24,000 km per year of annual driving. Travelling more than 24,000 km per year will result in higher monthly payments. However, indicating that you intend to drive more than 24,000 km now may be less expensive than a per kilometre charge at lease end. From time-to-time, Toyota Financial Services may offer "Stretch Lease" terms which will alter the annual km allowance.

The Vehicle Price is the base price of the vehicle plus any selected factory options, Extra Care Protection (ECP) plans, and Toyota authorized accessories. The value entered for Trade-In and/or Down Payment are included in the Vehicle Price. Dealer labour rates may vary.

Taxes, levies, Freight & PDI, air conditioning charge (where applicable), and fees are added only if you have checked the "Include Taxes, Levies..." checkbox. Insurance, license and if applicable, lien registrations as well as other fees are NOT included.

• Any amounts you have entered for trade-in vehicle value, amount owing on trade-in, and cash down payment
• The Toyota Financial Services (TFS) interest rate in effect at the time of purchase (or, if you have unchecked the [Toyota Financial Services Interest Rate] checkbox, the interest rate amount you have entered)
• The term you have chosen
• The estimated annual kilometres (if you are leasing the vehicle)
• Any selected factory options, Extra Care Protection (ECP) plans, and Toyota authorized accessories (installed)
• Any selected Savings & Offers

There are three payment options if you lease your vehicle: weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payment. The weekly/bi-weekly payment options enable you to make your vehicle payments every week/every two weeks instead of on a monthly basis.

When you lease a vehicle...

• Toyota Financial Services (TFS) determines the value of the vehicle at lease end
• Payments are based on the difference between the lease end value and the vehicle price, plus lease finance charges
• Taxes are paid on the monthly payment rather than on the full vehicle price
• Toyota Financial Services owns the vehicle, but you may purchase it at any time for the principal balance

Weekly/Bi-weekly Payment

The weekly/bi-weekly lease payment options enable you to make your vehicle payments every week/every two weeks instead of on a monthly basis.

With financing, you borrow the amount you require to pay the entire purchase price of the vehicle plus applicable taxes. This amount, plus finance charges, is typically repaid in equal monthly payments over a specific period of time. The vehicle is registered in your name and the lender takes a lien on the vehicle for the amount of the loan. When you have repaid the loan and finance charges you own the vehicle "free and clear".

Weekly/Bi-weekly Payment

The weekly/bi-weekly finance payment options enable you to make your vehicle payments every week/every two weeks instead of on a monthly basis.

A Down Payment is a cash amount of money which is paid at the time of delivery of the vehicle to reduce the monthly payment for a vehicle that is financed or leased.

In a lease transaction, for taxation purposes, a down payment is treated as a lease payment in advance. Therefore, the down payment is subject to tax. The figure you enter in this field should represent your down payment before taxes. These taxes plus the down payment are due upon delivery.

Owned Trade-In

Clicking this button indicates that you own (not lease) the vehicle you intend to trade-in. You own your vehicle if...

• You paid for it in full at the time of purchase, or
• You borrowed money at the time of purchase and financed the vehicle.

Leased Trade-In

Clicking this button indicates that you lease the vehicle you intend to trade-in. A leased vehicle is actually owned by the company it was leased from, so, technically, you are not trading it in. If you wish to apply the value of your leased vehicle against your new purchase or lease you must first extinguish, or "buy-out", the current lease.

When you extinguish your current lease, the amount owing on your lease is subtracted from the current market value of your vehicle. If the result is a positive number, this amount can be applied as a cash down payment on the new vehicle. If the number is negative, an additional down payment may be required. Your selected Toyota dealer will be glad to explain your options and help you with any necessary transactions.
