Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) celebrates its best January on record with remarkable achievements in electrified vehicle sales and the performance of its top models.

Electrified Vehicles Surge
In January 2024, electrified vehicles accounted for an impressive 46.5% of all Toyota Division units sold, reflecting a significant surge of 117.6% compared to the previous year. Notable highlights include:

• RAV4 Hybrid: Sales surged by 298.4%

• RAV4 Prime Plug-in Hybrid: Achieved an exceptional 389.5% increase

• Tundra Hybrid: Showcased solid growth of 116.5%

• Prius Family: Enjoyed an impressive surge of 782.1%

• Corolla Hybrid: Witnessed a notable boost of 38.0%

• Sienna, Camry Hybrid, and Venza: Each experienced significant growth, up 84.6%, 187.2%, and 128.9% respectively.

Zero-Emission Vehicles
The commitment to sustainable mobility was evident with a total of 1,824 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, including EV, PHEV, and FCEV) sold among the electrified Toyota vehicles in January.

TCI’s Remarkable January
TCI achieved its best January on record, selling a total of 15,526 vehicles, marking a significant 20.7% increase from January 2023.

• Toyota Division: Reported record January sales of 13,653 units, up 29.1% from the previous year.

• RAV4: Achieved a record-breaking 5,071 units sold, up 37.4% year over year.

• Prius Family, Tundra, Corolla Cross, and Corolla Hybrid: Each witnessed record January sales.
